CALF MILK REPLACER

1. OPTI-SKIM contains an extremely high level of skim milk powder which delivers high quality protein levels to push daily liveweight gains from an early age.
 
2. Inclusion of a high level of skim milk powder at 60%, achieves the desired clotting effect in the abomasum. This gives calves a slow release of energy and protein throughout the day as the skim milk powder is absorbed slowly through the abomasum, especially in the early stages of life.
 
3. Inclusion of Triple Shield Protection which comprises of three components:
» Includes a combination of enzymes which increases the growth of intestinal microflora.
» Sodium Bicarbonate is used to keep the acid balance healthy in the newborn calf.
» Sodium Butyrate is included to ensure the feed conversion efficiency in the abomasum is maximised.
This combination reduces the incidence of digestive scours and minimises the growth of harmful bacteria
including E-coli, Clostridia and Salmonella.
 
4. Achieves high performance with dairy replacement stock and beef calves in intensive rearing systems.
 
5. OPTI-SKIM is an easy mixing calf milk replacer, ideal for once a day, twice a day feeding and computerised calf rearing systems.
 

 
6. Shelf Life: 18 months from date of manufacture.
 
7. Available in pallets of 20kg polylined paper bags.
